A specialised course in lupus for nurses

E-learning Aula Lupus: update on systemic lupus erythematosus for nurses.

The collective of general practitioners and above all, nursing staff, both play an essential role in the care and handling of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Until now, no specific SLE training programme directed toward these professionals existed in Spain.

However, this course was created to cover this training gap, since SLE is a complex systemic disease which obliges health professionals who deal with it on a regular basis, to have deeper knowledge and a more specialised understanding of this autoimmune disease. Aula Lupus is our contribution to closing the gap by providing continued medical training for health professionals.
