Understanding neovascular AMD with an interactive eye

Ophthalmology 3D Digital Model 

This project, a collaboration between ec europe and Novartis, came from the desire to be able to explain in a simple, visual and attractive way, a complex physiological process like the development of a disease such as neovascular AMD, and the results obtained on the retina itself with a novel treatment. 

The interactivity offered by this 3D digital model allows a 360° exploration of the retina and a hyper-realistic comparison of what healthy retinal tissue looks like, versus pathological and treated retinal tissue.
